The actual Heart Bracelet was one of those from about 1987 - chunky plastic interlocking hearts of all colors, strung together on some elastic thread.

This bracelet was an incentive: only “big girls” get heart bracelets and big girls use the “potty chair”. The bribe worked, and to top the plastic prize, Dad had a real gold bracelet waiting too.
