November 2015
Original feature film score by Michael Shaieb and Brent Lord for the independent psychological thriller written and directed by Joseph Wartnerchaney, starring Rob Zabrecky, Lisa Howard, Elisha Yaffe, and Jackie Hoffman.
Jonathan is a very lonely man who works as groundskeeper at a local theme park. He lives with a crippling case of OCD as a result of an abusive childhood. One day, he gets a visitor in his house: a young woman who, through a jarring turn of events, ends up dead in his basement. He does not report the incident because he is happy to have a friend. Instead, he keeps the girl — and invites her to dinner. But then the body of the girl begins to decay.
Based on a true story and filmed on location in Denver, CO, the World Premiere of Decay was on November 7, 2015 at the 38th Denver Film Festival. The theatrical and VOD release was on April 8, 2016.

Decay (Movie Review)
Rather than simply setting a tone, the music choice per scene itself drives the plot forward, provides insight into the mindset of Jonathan and some humour amongst the otherwise strange situation.
