Feature length documentary film score by Michael Shaieb and Brent Lord about TLC’s Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes for the Vh1 Rock Docs series.
“Left Eye” was the rap voice of the 90’s pop trio TLC. She died in a tragic car accident while on a retreat in Honduras. Oscar-nominated director Lauren Lazin created a feature-length film telling the story of Lisa’s last days, using footage Lisa was shooting for her own documentary that was never finished.
North American Theatrical Premiere: 3/13/07 at South By Southwest. Broadcast premiere: 5/19/07 on Vh1.
